Greenhouse Operative

SureStaffing UK Ltd are looking to recruit For Greenhouse Operatives in various locations in and around the hull area. This role will involve working in a greenhouse environment packing and preparing the pot plants and flowers for distribution. Adding care labels to the plants, labelling them for despatch and loading the plants into racks for distribution.

As a Greenhouse Operative you will need to have:

• The ability to carry out physical manual work involving lifting, bending, and carrying.
• The ability to understand and follow health and safety regulations.
• The ability to work either alone or as a member of team.
• The ability to work inside and outside.

Role of a Greenhouse Operative:

• Operating seeding machine.
• Heavy lifting and bending will be required due to the nature of the job.
• Sowing seeds and potting up.
• Taking care of plants-watering, weeding, pruning, feeding, and cutting dead growth and general tidying.
• Depending on the job, you could also pick, sort, label, and package produce.

Greenhouse Operative pay details:

• Salary: £10.42

Working Hours and location of a Greenhouse Operative are:

• Monday to Friday 6am-2pm,7.30am-3.30pm
• Location: various including HU6, HU15, HU16 & HU17 area.
• Duration: Ongoing
