Class 1 Drivers

Sure Staffing are now recruiting for HGV 1 drivers for ongoing work for one our established and growing clients in the Liverpool area.

Job Role

You will be responsible for either store deliveries (no hand-balling) or trunking between depots/docks or a mix of both.

  • Various shifts available
  • Full time / ad-hoc drivers are welcome
  • Block bookings – ongoing work all year round

Pay Rates

  • Days: £13.00/h
  • Nights: £14.00/h
  • Saturday: £15.00/h
  • Sunday/Bank Holidays: £17.00/h
  • Night Out (if any): £25.00

*Above rates are for LTD/Umbrella drivers. Please contact our office if you are a PAYE driver.

You’ll need to have the following:

  • Full HGV 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
  • CPC card
  • DigiTacho card
  • Docks card (not essential but would be beneficial)
  • Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads
  • Understanding of Drivers Hours and Regulations
  • Good understanding of the Working Time Directive

You’ll also need to be able to clearly communicate in English, be reliable, hard-working, flexible and have a can do/go anywhere attitude.

Please note: due to our Insurance we can only accept drivers with minimum of 2 years driving experience. You cannot have more than 6 minor penalty points on your licence.
