Line Operatives (Weekends)

SureStaffing UK Limited are currently working with our client who are a leading global pharmaceutical packaging and design company.

We are currently looking to recruit on their behalf numerous Line Operatives to undertake a Weekend Day Shift at our client’s state of the art manufacturing facility at Melton, East Yorkshire

Job Role:

You will be working in a self-isolated fast-paced automated sterile environment whereby you will undertake but not limited to the following whilst wearing PPE such as a gown, gloves mask and boots:

• Working/maintaining the packing lines are running smoothly
• Preparing & Packing items into trays ready for dispatch and that they are checked to the SOPs
• Labelling products to specific orders
• Complying with GMP standards
• Undertake Cleaning down lines and areas
• Working at high speed and attention to detail is crucial
• Undertaking Quality Control procedures and reporting any defects to the Supervisor
• Reporting to Supervisors
• Always adhering to company policies and procedures
• Manual handling duties involved whereby you will be required to lift products up to 12kgs
• Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to stand for long periods of time
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate

In order to be deemed suitable for the role you must have the following:

• Driven and motivated to achieve targets set
• Punctual and excellent attendance records
• You will have at least 6 months previous experience within packing / manufacturing environment
• GMP Knowledge preferred
• Will be flexible to do overtime, also work at short notice
• Will be motivated and look for long term work (as our client is looking to keep staff who he can train for long term work)
• Be dexterous
• Good communication skills both written and orally
• Attention to detail
• Be able to work on your own in a fast-paced environment
• Smart and clean appearance at all times due to the working environment

Working Hours

Friday – Sunday

36 hours per week

Shift Patterns 06:00 – 18:00

Rates of Pay

£9.75 per hour
